Terms of Use

Effective 3 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the ClockIn app for iPhone (“ClockIn”, “the app”), made by Rajkumar Sharma (“I”, “me”). By downloading or using ClockIn, you agree to them. They add to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). Where these terms don’t cover something, the Apple EULA applies.

Using ClockIn

You may use ClockIn on Apple devices you own or control, for your own planning and time tracking, as allowed by the Apple EULA. Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

Free plan and Bronze plan

Your data

Everything you add to ClockIn is yours and stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping backups, for example with iCloud Backup. Deleting the app deletes its data.

Time records

ClockIn helps you keep track of your time, but its records depend on how you use it and on iOS features such as location, Focus and notifications. Those may not always work, for example when permissions are off, the device is out of battery or iOS delays a background event. Automatic clock-in, reminders, gap detection and forgotten-timer suggestions are conveniences, not guarantees. Please check your timesheets before using them for payroll, invoices or any other official record. You are responsible for the records you submit.

Availability and changes

I may update ClockIn from time to time, which can add, change or remove features. I’ll try to keep the app working well, but I can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer

ClockIn is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, I make no warranties beyond those in the Apple EULA, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of ClockIn, including lost data, lost earnings or errors in time records. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.

Ending these terms

You can stop using ClockIn at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings. If you break these terms, your right to use the app ends.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, I’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use ClockIn after a change means you accept the new terms.
